This actually kind of sucks. I was hoping they would not combine them. I personally use skills from all the tiers, especially the power ones.

Combining the Acer's & Wcer's sounds like a good idea, both were a pita to level compared to the ww & carp. Albeit post lvl 58 doing the timed writs made it bareable. So even if they combined the the acer's / wcer's & ww's / carp's that would make leveling them up allot more user friendly (and quicker post lvl 58 timed writs). There would still be 7 crafting classes to choose from, unless they broke the tink's & muter's out on their own , because some peeps don't like to have to have a 2 in 1 ts'er to get their secondary skill up that they actually really only want.

Of course this is just my 2cp and having played since launch with the old time & labor consuming or subcombines.

Good idea's though, thanks

To sum up, the biggest problem that faced TS-ers was that, although TS buffs were identical in design, they had different degrees of efficiency. Most TS-ers just toiled through this problem, but with the LU35 (or 36), they made it so lower level buffs could work with higher level buffs, and not not get cancelled out.

The big changes coming with RoK will be that all TS-ers will get the same buffs across the board: a set for durability, and a set for progress, and these will upgrade like adventure spells every tier. There will also be a new TS UI, that will auto populate the correct group of buffs if you are crafting something that is not your primary sub class (lvl 20 and under).

From what I gather, the effectiveness of the buffs are going to be standardized across all TS Sub-classes, recipes will only generate 'Pristine' grade items (returning a portion of fuel AND no XP for sup pristine attempts), and the're adding a tutorial for TS-ing on each of the four noob islands...in short, if you can't get pristine in the new system, you suck...
If you can't get pristine in the current system, you suck.

Yeh, WTF is up with those? I want to say it's just bad luck, but near 100% bad luck for an entire combine? They're particularly fun when you're making something with someone else's rares. Even better when it's a commission and they're watching. Urgh.

Yup, only reason mine made 65 was for the once-in-a-blue-moon adorn crafting. And the only reason she's 70 now is for making folded scale blades for the guild.
