Default Good Rok harvesting areas ?

So has anyone found any decent rok areas yet ? I've only been able to play ofr a couple hours and kp area so far. Nodes seem to be spread out like steamfont was, well except for the ice tunnels with wandering aggro.

Thx....

In 6 weeks of beta and now here where I'm really concentrating on it, I haven't found any really great areas. There's one for provisioner bushes near the Kunzar Jungle druid rings, but that's the only place where there's a good concentration of nodes and no mobs, and if you're a low level crafter you won't be getting there without a conj friend to CoH you across zones for your Kunzar druid ring access.

If you freeze your character on a step in the dock timelines you can get an item which makes you look like a spider and can move around all of the spiders without agro. (They will appear as allies).

Go into the den there, and can harvest rocks agro-free.

However, if you complete the quest, you will lose the item, so if you never complete it I'm assuming you can keep the item forever. The illusion only lasts an hour though, so you'll want to come out to an open space when that happens.

Of course, many of these mobs are blue to a level 70 so once you hit 80 they will all be grey anyways. But I didn't notice any high-density areas like they have in TT, but they aren't as bad as EoF IMO.

Thanks for the info ,
I noticed around KC that there were quite a few nodes that popped fairly quickly also last night. It's nice having the bigger stacks now , leaves more room for all the quest rewards.

Wow that sounds like an exploit if I've ever heard one... abusing a game mechanic for unintended purposes. The illusion is part of a quest, you are not intended to use it to avoid aggro and harvest unmolested. It never fails to amaze me that people don't see these things as wrong.

Why don't we make the goblin lottery free then... no risk of loss and the possibility of gain! Harvesting should be risky unless you outlevel the area, otherwise the item has no value. Why bother playing the game if you are always going to look for the cheap and easy way out?

The illusion exploit is already being addressed iirc.

Added: The tunnel near Teren's has 4-5 nodes, quick repops and only one agro mob that is easily avoided. The brute caves has a number of metal/ore nodes spaced between the mobs for those with innate invis. The area near Highton (treant area) has all kinds of bush/root/wood nodes that are easy to access and the agro mobs are widely spaced out.

The sarnak cave in Jareths Waste has 5 or 6 gem nodes that are on a reasonably fast repop - though you have to get some faction with them to make them non-aggro. The first quest which should let you do this is a simple exploration which can be done avoiding all the aggro mobs if you're careful.
