If crafter has Scintillating and Smoldering Dusts in inventory, creation of T7 Grandmaster's Potions / Poisons defaults to use T8 Smoldering Dusts.

I've /bugged it, but thought I'd let you guys know too.

Yikes, that's not good!

Other bugs I've found as heads up to other crafters-

Timed armorer writs were not giving back fuel costs.

One rush tailor writ (the second line you get in t8, forget now what it was called) can't be made because one of the recipe names doesn't match the name in the writ.

Smoldering blessed imprint (tailor) was still giving back the Lambent Blessed Imprint, stats and all.

Yep, it should just be in the first books you scribe.

First post!!. Actually that conversion recipe was a quest that started from an npc in rivervale. It is nice and all, however to convert t7 dusts into t8, it takes 3 t7 dusts(you get one back) and 5g worth of fuel.

So in essence, you burn 2 t7 dusts +5g to make 1 t8 dusts. Doesnt seem worth it to me as there will still be a demand for t7 dusts for cure potions, tactics and second sight potions. The t8 upgrade only added duration for the last 2, not crit %.

Right, the first time you get the recipe is a quest in Rivervale, if you haven't done that, you won't get the subsequent recipes (the ones after making scintillating dust which right now is just the smoldering).

Edit-The smoldering dust distillation is in the recipe book "Alchemist's Distillations" which is what you get from doing that quest in Rivervale. If you don't have it, you haven't done the quest for the book.

Look for the npc in the door to the right as you're facing the bar, she'll send you out to get her some items from different zones. I remember going to Lavastorm and Everfrost.
