I skipped the issue all together and only make spells for friends/guildies.

Have to admit i was soured by the few idiots that seem prepared to pay for a pizza and extra to have it delivered but seem to think that because its a game i should make things for them run arround finding them and wait till they are ready for the privilage of crafting their items.
Nothing like being asked to make a few lowlevel items and thinking ok ill help out a newbie only to find when you deliver its the alt of some guy in full fabled that probably has more in the bank than ill see in a life time and get a few gold for the service.

I always keep the dusts...they asked for my services to make an Adept III. Besides, it is my choice to continue with the crafting process beyond the first progress bar. I usually ask for fuel cost for T8 and then any donation beyond that is up to them. I would say the average person gives fuel costs + 10-20g.

I believe anything lower than the fourth bar won't net you a final product any more.

I've been charging 10G and keeping the dusts, people usually tip too.

A fair tip yes, 30 gold is kinda ...a rip . Even if someone provide me everything,i charge for the time and effort, but not that expensive.
