I was hoping they'd have fixed that drachnid illusion before the thanksgiving weekend, and then again on Monday .. making me wonder when they're ever gonna fix it.

getting a master chest off a normal mob is kinda 1/10000000 chances. During your adventurer life, soloing or grouping, you kill thousands and thousands of mobs and dont get so many masters. In 4 years,i have got so far 3 or 4 masters drops ( a warden 71 lately from a tiger in fens).

So yes, it's time and effort to get masters from normal mobs, it's mindless grinding and killing.

Luck is luck, and as u always have 1% chance to crit or fail, you have 1% chance of master drop. (or less).

Maybe regulars don't kill masses of solo mobs to play these odds but plat pharmers do. Which makes this not only a stupid reward model but a direct subsidy towards plat selling.

I think they may have upped the drop rate off of trash mobs. Hell we have 18 masters in the guild bank, and I would say at least 7 of them came off of trash.

I got the world disco on Ray of Disi*****tion and it dropped... off a Cactus.
