T8 Rares - Page 2

Very interesting feedback - it is beginning to look like Silicate Loam as well as being widely used is the rarest harvest. I also still suspect there's hoarding and price-gouging going on, but it seems to be happening on _every_ server.

SO, I'm going to do two things, start this same conversation on eq2players and /petition this. Not being able to upgrade to at least Adept IIIs while waiting for Masters is making my game very difficult.

Or it could be that Silicate Loams are the most used rare which since they are as rare as every other rare, causing Silicate Loams to increase in price due to the demand!

The expansion has not even been out for a month. Crying about not having all of your skills upgraded for cheap yet is going to conjure an entire orchestra full of tiny violins...

If you want the stuff quickly, fork up the cash, or stop complaining about the cost when everyone else needs them too.

and if demand is high, there is the re-seller effect also. IF someone begin to sell low, someone will buy to sell at higher price.
As long there isnt a load of them , and high demand, both effects will keep price sky rocketing.

Silicate= fighter CA's, scout CA's
Tynnonium= mage spells, melee jewelry, furniture
Fire Emerald= priest spells, caster jewelry, furniture

Someone said earlier that there's more demand for the silicate and I am not sure that's the case after thinking about it last night. And before you say people don't use the MC jewelry or the furniture, let me assure you they do. The jewelry especially gets a work out at the beginning of the tier before people have raided, etc., and all 6 of my alts are in it.

There just aren't a whole lot of places to harvest the ore, I think that might explain some of it. I find tons of gem nodes in all the zones, ore, not so much.

At 20 something Ad3s per player using those Silicates, it still adds up to more then jewelry and furniture pieces used.

Conjurors had 31 spells this expansion so I'd assume most the other classes are probably closer to 30, jewelry is for n00bs and alts for most part. Furniture for a few people but most people in the game are probably maxed out on items and don't care to get new stuff to swap out the old stuff. Houses really haven't had much attention and lot of people just lose interest.

Pfft, Tynonnium imbued str/agi rings aren't just for newbs/alts :P But the rest is pretty much nothing I agree.
