Default Which faction to grind?

Any suggestions on which faction to grind in Fens to get the prov recipes?

The way it's set up, in order to get all the available new recipes you have to grind all 3 factions, the two in Fens, and the Danak's in JW.

Well, not sure I am up to grinding more than one faction, just wondered if one had better recipes?

Thanks,

So far from looking in game you need Riliss faction in Fens...which considering all the quests to do it's not hard to make 50,000 ally faction with them and then Danak in Jarsath. Again there are quite a few quests for Danak including some repeatable ones for 10k faction each so not that difficult to get 50,000 ally faction...altho to buy recipes all you need is 40k faction.

Oh my. 40K to buy them? I am not an adventurer doing the prov writs. And 40K to buy them? No way I am going to do over 100 writs to get to 40K. Oh my. Nope not going to happen.

Thanks,

Should be 10 or 20k to buy the faction recipes. Kesselia if your not a high level adventurer but high level crafter we got a little shafted. After the initial quest that give like 1k for riliss 250 for bal, it's 750 per writ grinding the rest of the way starting from like -39 k or so sucks ass for a grind. And as far as I know only provisioner goodies are in yet.

Well I just know from what I saw when I looked at the merchant at Sathir's Span on my lvl 78 warden/67 jeweler. It said 40k faction needed...now that may be for a high level adventurer...it may be different for a low level adventurer / high level crafter.

I do know that like you said Mheryl posted that most of the writs give 750 faction per writ...

I was going based off what I saw in game. If it's different for low level adventure/ high level crafter than my apologies. I know Domino said there were ways of getting the crafting books by working up faction even if you aren't a high lvl adventurer. Only other thing I noticed the books are no trade and cost just over 10gold each.

Prolly best bet is go to the official forums and look up info on this and ask Domino directly.

No worries, I think it's possible I may have misread and maybe the advanced TS were available at 10 or 20k and may be higher for the faction recipes themselves. I already have ally riliss on my adventurer and I think baltheds as well. Didn't think about looking before I got there.

If you have only the tradeskill option of getting up faction I think you only can get up to warmly via TS faction grinding. This is because they go off of the same faction and didn't want tradeskillers to get the adventure rewards without doing any adventuring.

It's a bit daunting to have to go through 3 factions in that manner via tradeskills so I haven't touched them. I'd rather wait to hear if the rewards are actually worth that grind. Currently for most classes the rewards not in yet.

Serathe is correct--as far as the factions in Fens goes, you only need 10K faction to buy those prov recipes. As far as Danak goes...well I'm still working on that faction *grumbles* but I'm guessing its the same there as well.

Good luck to you!

Well, at first I thought 10K sounded much better, but then figuring out from -39,000 to +10K is still over 60 writs, I am again thinking it is not worth it. For goodness sakes, whoever thinks this is some great thing for provisioners is nutz - flat out removed from reality, and oh I am such a crummy flamer.
