City crafting title question

Hello:

I'm working on city titles for my new characters on Nagafen. The evil ally titles are the best in game, in my opinion.

The ally Freeport crafting title is "Racketeer", and the Neriak title is "Trafficker". I'm getting one for each of my two new characters.

Anyway, I want to make sure that when I change my Neriak toon to Freeport for convenience reasons after I get the title, that I don't lose it.

Can anyone confirm that?

You will not lose the title, you might however, lose the faction. I've had friends do it and both kept title, one lost his faction though when he went qey-freeport. The one that went qey-kelethin didn't lose faction.

Ya, I don't care about the faction once I switch, I only wanted the title since it's cool. And it's actually easier to level doing tradeskill writs than straight grinding now anyway, so might as well get a prefix title when you level a crafter, if you want one.

You don't lose faction with anything but the city itself as long as you go from evil to evil or good to good. I switched from Freeport to Neriak and maintained faction with all the factions such as Militia, Academy, and Coalition. If you go from good to evil or vice versa that might make you lose faction.

You can even continue to do Tradeskill writs in Freeport, but it seems that even so, the faction with your home city's tradeskill alliance is increased regardless of where you do them. For instance, my Qeynos aligned woodelf can do TS writs in Kelethin but gains faction with Ironforge Exchange (Qeynos) instead of Tunare's pages (Kelethin).

I have a lvl 77 Qeynos troll carpenter with the Commisonar title

I also still have 30k+ faction with the Coalition of Tradesfolke. I haven't been back to check to see if I can buy from them, but I'm assuming I could still buy stuff from them. The rest of FP as a whole dislikes me though :P
