/mourns

I still mis inter-crafter dependency. I really miss the refining and combines my provi needed to do to make the orignal Mental Core Breach.

/sigh

I don't think it's horrible, because the people who don't craft are still too lazy to do it, and the people who do craft now do it easier. From what I've seen, except for maybe some crafter's pride in the difficulty of the thing, there's nothing different. Prices are the same, the amount of crafters are the same, etc.

For me I want it to be a challenge without it being a grind. I want to be proud that I can say I have 7 level 80 tradeskillers and not have someone remind me that any monkey could do it. I want choices in the way I get ts levels and I want some of those choices to be a HUGE challenge, not a HUGE grind. Grind does not equal challenge, nor does it make us feel rewarded at the end.

Right now, I can grind. With writs or without writs. If I want more recipes I can grind writs that don't give my guild a lick of exp. I can do a couple quests (at great peril to me at lower levels) for the right to do those writs that give me a few recipes and no guild exp. but at least they give me some tradeskill exp. Step in the right direction.

There's a new quest on test right now for tsers. You harvest bushes (ad nauseum, mind you) to get dishes for your house. It gives tradeskill exp, and that's another step in the right direction I think. I'm really hoping to see even more FUN ways to get exp in tradeskilling other than just making the same few items over and over, staring at the same ts device.

Oooh, just thought of something that could be a twist to the harvest for dishes quest.. since there's a glut of lower level rares not getting used, maybe if you pick up a rare while doing that quest you could grab a "crystal" dish or something similar as a reward.

I dunno, just thinking out loud here about the whole situation. I know I'm not feeling satisfied yet, but it's getting better.

Like Pinski said above - Timed writs, 5% exp per timed writ turn-in (6 combines in 8.5 mins (normally only takes 4 - 5 mins to complete) (unless your a prov then 6 combines (12 total now) in 8.5 mins).

With vit = ~ a level/hour or so. W/o vit = ~ level / 1.5 - 2 hours or so.

Just for comparison lvl 58 - 69 ts was ~ 13 - 14% per timed writ turn-in + 6 - 8% with ts vit for the combines = 19 - 22% per writ turn in with vit.

Not anymore now though.

But the good news is that since it takes a few more writs to level = more gsp's. With 9 levels so far between 3 crafters (3 levels each) I've leveled my family guild 2 levels. Still have 6 crafters to go.

You know I always avoided the rush order ones for some reason but I started doing those repeatedly last night and was amazed how fast the xp began flying up.
