I've never paid enough attention to see how fast vit comes back. But was told it's 1% an hour (real time)... Is this correct for ts vit ?

It takes 1 full week(168 hours) to gain 100% vitality, thus you gain 0.59% per hour. This is assuming you do not have enough vitality already to hit the cap(that being level 80 with RoK, level 70 with EoF/KoS, level 60 with DoF, or Level 50 with just the plain game).
