This was one of the bad ideas for sure. If you're gonna make a TS recipe, make it available to ALL crafters, for one. My low level crafters all ran to Golden Scepter in Maj Dul when they got level 51 to buy their own recipes, but if they'd had faction there (which could be available with coins, as long as the quest guy in the tower would take them from a low level) they would have never made it. So what was the plan for low level and getting into a court?

Make the recipes tradable, or maybe an alternate way to get into the courts for a tser (either higher adventure level, or lower, someone who's not gonna do Maj Dul content), maybe a quest of some sort that allows you to go in one time or something, long enough to let them get their recipes and get out. Maybe some princess inside heard of a potion a crafter could make that would make her skin beautiful, but a lowbie crafter has to go to Antonica to get mud from the bank of the Windstalker pond and some gnoll dung and the high level adventurer has to get the water from Jarsath and the dung of a kobold.

My adventure level 30 (at the time) alchemist was able to make it in the the courts to buy the recipes, just from buying are redeeming the faction tokens. As with harvesting in a high adventure level area, theres a higher risk of dying, but it is doable.

On many servers, you can't buy enough tokens to get the faction. There aren't enough on the broker, and the price is 5 g each. Very very few people are farming coins these days, the botters all farm POF now instead. =p

Last night, I bought every blades and truth token on the broker, hoping to get enough coin faction just so I could zone into the court, get the quests, and get high enough faction to use the faction merchant inside by doing that.

I bought every blades and truth token on the broker on my server, but only got to -10k faction. That isn't enough to even zone into the court.

I'm now also KOS with the other two courts, and have nothing to show for it. I revise what I said above, it would take a couple days factioning easily to get enough tokens to be able to use the faction broker in a Maj'Dul court.

This is nuts, put these recipes somewhere they can be purchased please.

nah really doesnt take a couple of days factioning.
depending on how high your crafter is you might consider doing some of the gimp quests of the beach. If those are too high take your main and clear MD.
Think a complete tower takes 15-20 min or so.

But on contrary what i said before it is a bit harsh that this is the only way to get the recipe. Although the same thing might happen with the KoS spells in the future if nobody goes there anymore. Even worse maybe as those are drop only iirc

I've diligently purchased EVERY blades and truth insignia on the Nagafen evil broker (for 2 g and under, not the 99 plat ones duh) every day, usually twice a day, since I started this post.

There's never more than a couple on the broker per day.

After all this, I'm only up to amiable faction.

I repeat, putting level 53 recipes on the Maj'Dul faction vendors is the best way to assure nobody will ever get the recipes and make the items, if that was the intent it has succeeded.

Good thing I've outgrown my need for that spell, it got upgraded in the 70s.

LFG I never found it to bad, couple hrs farmin the coins from the guards did the trick. Just make rounds, u can at least get 20 tokens per 10 min repop easy. Few hrs later u have lots and lots of coins. Prob some to sell too.

I was hunting for these for my Dirge, and managed to find several of the Advanced scrolls on the broker (Nagafen, Q side) but didnt really think to look if there were any for other classes.

I'll have another look tonight to see and post back..it might be worth betraying a toon over to get them from Qeynos.
