Well regardless it still wouldn't be a bad idea to use that as the Fighter rare...just something different from the Scouts.

eh.
personally I dont understand why they split the rares for ad3s in the first place.
*shrugs*
Used to be rare gems/soft metals were used for all Ad3s.
They should just go back to that, but include Loams as well, since those have been added to the harvest tables since the early days.

Loam/Gem/Softmetal for any Ad3 you want.
That way 2 archaetypes aren't getting fucked in prices like they are currently.

that should be for 1 or 2 day at most then, since that's the time it will take you to get from 72 to 77. Sure worth it ! :p

This needs to e changed, on nagafen scouts and fighters pay payabout 4 times that of mages and priests...

I think the mechanic was in place because the only thing a rare loam is used for is to make Arts and Runes. Where as the soft metal and gemstones are needed for spells, wards, and jewelry. Originally they were thinking that the loam would be just fine for it's purpose. Then along came tinkering where you can end up rinsing 5 or so loams to make a rare tinkered item. So there you have it.

I have however been /feedbacking this forever. It is my once a month... "hey SOE can ya do something about this."

even if everyone used 7 pieces of armor and 2 weapons (all available incar slots), it still wouldn't add up the number of spells they'll upgrade from 71-80

ya it's probably an average of 30 spells per class, i've spent about 10 hours harvesting and picked up 4 loams so far =(
