I've received a request to start a new homes and house decorating section on this site.

I guess I'm trying to assess interest in putting one up.

Are people interested in a section like that? Should posts about homes and decorating just be in the tradeskill section, or should they have their own section?

I shudder at the abuse I'll take from raiders for putting a house decorating section on this site, but I don't care, no need to worry about that. Any new decorating section would DEFINITELY have a mod.

Until they give us more rooms, new houses with higher item limits or ability to have multiple houses, I don't think as many people are going to be interested. I'm sitting at 500 item limit with 616 items in my house and I have to swap through items I keep in my house stash when I want to place new stuff.

Although house decorations and tradeskilling aren't a total overlap, it would probably be best to have one forum do both and rename it accordingly. "Tradeskills and Housing" or something. Besides I already have a thread I want to start for it.

I actually like this idea. Mheryl, is it cool with you if I rename this section "Tradeskills and Home Decoration", or would you prefer to keep it just "Tradeskills"?

I like the sticky idea, because then, people can just post pictures of their house or whatever instead of having a new thread for everything. Would get kind of spammy because every other thread would be like, "Omg, come see my house!~"
