My alt's house (used to be my main).

The business end of the house. Here official guests can relax in a dignified manner and you'll also find my more learned erudian alts hanging out here!

A cosy corner to chat in.

My desk

Heading through the archway takes you into the library/workshop

Some more views from the other corners

Following the passage way down past the bookcases takes you to my humble bedroom (with an ickle guest bed!)

If on the other hand you take the stairs....

...you can head outside to the garden (somewhere to curl up with a nice book!)

In addition you might find Pasta cooking away on the stove in the al fresco kitchen.

Heading back inside to the warmth of the house you'll find your self in the lounge (my favourite room to chill out in after a hard day dragon slaying!)

The dining room is coveniently located next door for those all so important guild meetings but is also a nice place to relax in with some chillout music...

I hope you enjoyed the tour!

My sister Suedoenimm poked me today and made me promise to post up some pics of my houses.

Click on the pic, you get a full-sized screenie.

Southern Qeynos Living Presents:
Sigrdrifa's home at 2 Bayle Court in South Qeynos (Lucan D'Lere Server)

View of front door and seating area.

As you enter the home, dining and seating areas greet you.

Although inexpensive, sturdy alder chairs provide a rich conversational setting.

Ironwood chairs provide dinner guests a comfortable seat with understated elegance.

The heart of the main room is the large open fireplace.

Construction of the fireplace required a variety of parts to achieve the overall grand effect.

The second room on the first floor is a chapel devoted to Erollisi Marr.

The simple ironwood altar uses lighting and statuary to suggest the devotion of the goddess of love.

While the chapel contains rows of acrylia benches to accomodate guests, the design also allows solitary prayer and meditation.

Immediately downstairs from the dining room is the country-style kitchen.
.

Cooking areas, brewing equipment, and fresh foods in open baskets.

There is plenty of room for food storage and, since party guests always gather in a kitchen, room for visitors.

Adjoining the kitchen is a workshop area.

Lighting, carpet and artwork brighten the work area and make long crafting sessions enjoyable.

The last room on the basement level is a bathroom, complete with the most modern fixtures.

Ironwood counters provide surfaces for candles and bottles in a vanity area.

A hot bath in an elegant moonstone pool is placed in a romantic candle-lit setting.

The most modern convenience, a flush toilet, means the homeowner never has to step out to the outhouse in the alley again.

On the second floor is the secluded and cozy bedroom.

The long room has many places for displaying artwork and trophies.

The comfortable bed from the Isle of Mara welcomes a weary adventurer for rest and renewal.

The centerpiece of the bedroom is the stone fireplace, providing warmth and color to the room.

A variety of materials went into the construction of the sturdy fireplace (since been replaced with a crafted fireplace).

Around the corner is an office space and shelves for a book-lover's collection.

A row of oak desks provide a large work area for records and account-keeping.

The glassed-in solarium on the top floor contains a swimming pool and cabana area.

An exotic tented area holds a bar and several kegs of beer for guests.

The large aviak pools are tiered for visual impact, and rounded ironwood counters sunk into the floor provide a pool deck and seating.

Another tent nestled away behind the row of potted palms offers a secluded conversational area.

Southern Qeynos Living Presents:
Freydísa's Acorn House at Aerie Amree, Kelethin (Lucan D'Lere Server)

Welcome to Freydísa's Acorn House at Aerie Amree in Kelethin. This is a view of the entry, which opens into a garden suitable for a high elven druid.

Across from the front door, an aquarium adds a tranquil view for visitors entering the home.

A closer view of the aquarium. A number of aquaria provided inspiration for this calming addition to Freydísa's home!

As a healer, Freydísa believes body, soul and mind must all be kept healthy and balanced. Thus for the body, the Training Room above the entry area provides an area for exercise or friendly sparring with guild-kin.

A wall covered in padded martial tapestries prevents accidental falls down the stairs in case of vigorous training!

Backlit tapestries and the trophies of many conquests decorate the room.

A lone bench provides a place for a short break, or for the next opponent to wait for their bout.

On the other side of the entry garden is a room centered on the altar of Karana. The soul is the center of being, and attention to spiritual needs and mediatation play a large role in the druid priestess' life.

Moving downwards, the gameroom provides an area to entertain guests.

Conversational areas provide a place to sit and visit, or to watch a billiards game.

After seeing Bolinda's gameroom, Freydísa couldn't rest until she obtained a billiards table!

Freydísa's office provides an area for reading and studying. The pursuit of knowledge helps keep the mind fit and in tune with the balanced individual.

The desk is wide and simple, perfect for spreading out research materials or drawing.

The bedroom is simple and open.

Entryway to the bathing chamber. Thanks again to Zindi Thistleberry, who provided help in getting the hanging baskets atop the pillars!

The tub is provided with controls for hot and cold piped water, and curtains for privacy. In the back is a mirror portal, invented by Sevarious Splinterclaw.

Candles provide romantic lighting for the bathing area, and additional shelves will soon hold bath oils and unguents.

Further into the bathing chamber is a secluded area for the necessity, complete with reading materials.

The newest watercloset technology has been brought from Qeynos for this facility.

Passing through the mirror portal, one enters Freydísa's crafting area. As a jeweler and rune-smith, this area provides security for valuable raw materials and a quiet place to work. The painting The Rune complements her work.

The other side of the crafting area contains a strongbox and a small desk where accounts are kept.

And if you'd like to see more of my meager decorating efforts, I have other Southern Qeynos Living photoshoots as well!

I have to ask, where are you all finding the really snazzy wall art? Some of the pieces look vaguely similar to the original heritage paintings (That I claimed on a character I haven't played in forever, heh.) or whatever they were called.

I used to buy up all the furniture in the stores years ago, and spend days rearranging things to my hearts content. Now that I'm back into the game, I want to start decorating again; especially now that the furniture stores are not really in business anymore heh. They have certainly increased the selection of furniture items in the world.

Does it make me a bad person that arranging furniture can be just as fun as anything in the game? ^.^

Some of it is from the city merchants and costs status to buy. The really huge ones are from Legends of Norrath loot cards.

All the orc tapestry things were introduced in the last expansion and are pretty nice too.
