Merchant furniture that isnt from faction.

OK, it seems like I remember there used to be furniture sellers in some of the starting towns around FP and Qy. then if i remember right SOE pulled them out and gave carpenters more recipes?

Are there still any house items that can be purchased at merchants w/o it being faction/guild level/status cost?
And, is the stuff that does cost status that comes from city merchants tradeable?
Cause there is some FP items I would like to get ahold of and dont ever see on the broker and cant remember if they are even tradeable.

i havent chked in a few months but I remember going into one of the noob towns on one of my lowbies and some furniture is still obtainable. The lucanic vase is now made by carpenter, but I think that blk candle stand with various colored candles is still bought. Those are the only two pieces I ever admired from a merchant.

There are furniture shops in freeport and qeynos (efp and nq I believe) that sell non status items.

As fas as the status items go, they are no-trade flaged. What I have done in the past when I want a really nice item from a qeynos faction is to get someone to buy it for me. Then they sneak over to my house, I make them a trustee temporarily while they place the item in my house, then I can move it around at will. You just cant pick it up but if you move house that item will move with you

Actually i went to the furnture store in NQ and the merchant doesn sell anything but crafting fuels.
So unless I was at the wrong place...

he never has sold anything great Illy...but you might try some of the merchants in the newbie housing areas they have some barrels and what not..other than that the city merchants have a few housing pieces that are either really low guild requirement (10ish) or no guild requirement at all.

Someone told me that the Freeport wooden counters can still be bought in one of the small towns in Freeport. I know we can still buy Enchanter's Candelabra and some barrels here in Qeynos. Maybe I'll head around today and see what I can find.

There used to be furniture sellers in FP districts that'd sell decayed-like stuff such as chairs, boxes and tables. That was removed long ago though (or at least, not displayed anymore).

You can still buy a couple (and I'm literal about "couple") of items from the inn keepers in every city district. They all sell the same stuff though.

I believe it's the housing merchant in The Big Bend that sells the freeport wooden counters, but it's also possible that it's Longshadow Alley. I'm almost positive it's one of those two places, cause I've bought them from there at some point

The housing merchants in all of the suburbs of a town let you buy something for your house. Not all of them have the same stuff, but some places, like Graystone in Qeynos seem to have pretty much all of it. In Qeynos I know you can buy three different types of barrels, two or three types of buckets, and one enchanter's candelabra which is pretty and gives off good light.

I didn't head for Freeport yet but I'll see what I can find there later. Other merchants had a smaller list of things to buy but using just those merchants listed you can get just about anything available.

And one more question, is there a list available anywhere of what faction merchant items are actually tradeable?
because I know there is at least one item from Neriak thats trade faction and NOT flagged No Trade.
Anyone know of others?
