The Test Server update notes for GU42 include this:

This kind of puts me in a bind. I have ally Coalition faction on Nagafen but want to Exile tonight. I assume I'll lose out on getting this if I do so, but I can't wait a week to Exile either.

Can anyone with access to Test tell me what this recipe book includes?

As a side note, I think it's a rather harsh penalty to lose out on the ability to get recipe books like this after doing several hundred writs to earn the right to buy them.

I understand that there are penalties to going Exile, but I'm not sure crafting penalties were intended to be included in that.

I wonder, will I still be able to sneak into FP to buy my books in Exile? I don't lose the coalition faction, do I?

Its the recipes for the mannequins, which allow you to display armor or weapon appearances on, well, a mannequin. Level 55 Artisan, 30k faction required to purchase and scribe the recipe, although I hear it is a level 75 combine.

Also, I remember someone saying that you didn't lose the ts faction when exiling, when the achievement mirror recipe book went in, but as I have not exiled a character with city faction, I have not independently verified that.

I recently exiled with max faction with coalition and can still make the mirror but...I tried going to the TS zone to see if I could pick up a woodworking table as I had forgotten to get one for my house in Maj, and the merch wouldn't sell to me =\ Said they didn't want my business.

Ouch - thanks for letting me know this. I just exiled one of my toons but hadn't gotten around to doing the other yet. Am working on the Maj'Dul quest today to buy a house there. I'll make sure I spend all my status on crafting stations before I exile the second toon.

Just another example of how hard I'd be screwed sometimes without the information on this site.

Yeah, luckily I have an alt with a huge amount of faction that I'm going to use to do the same. It's kind of idiotic to make coalition of tradesfolke a very distinctly separate faction and then cut you off from it though.

LFG, have you and other crafters on PvP /petitioned, /feedback or anything trying to either

1 get an exile tradeskill faction OR
2 be allowed to purchase from your previous faction?

I know it is kind of a stupid question to ask but Domino has always been an awesome TS dev and might be able to help
