Default In quest of the BFH (Big Fooking House)

In quest of the BFH (Big Fooking House). I'm a resident of Neriak, and I was wondering if there is anything bigger then the house that costs like 7gp a week upkeep?

I have a truckload of status, ect, can I get something with more rooms somewhere that maybe costs me status upkeep? Or is the 5 room, 7gp per week one as good as it gets?

From EQII Wiki:

Housing

You must be a Neriak citizen in order to buy a house; see Finding a Sponsor to earn citizenship. Currently status housing is not available, so you must pay your rent using coin.

Neriak residences are a tad smaller in size (feels like it anyway) than say a Qeynos Mansion. Same limit on amount of items, but the scope of the rooms in the Qeynos mansion is just more open and bigger. Gorowyn housing has some big rooms too - limits are the same tho.

I don't have much experience with the FP housing, but from screenshots Id say some of the features that make the Qeynos mansion seem big exist for those too (2 storey foyers, etc.)

5 room 500 item is the cap, no matter how 'big' the place is.

The rooms in the Neriak houses are smaller, definitely. The only open "big" spaces in the 5 room are the "entrance room" and the basement.

I'd love to see great big stonking houses, personally.

Status housing in Neriak has been available for quite some time now. It's the same layout as the non-status houses, though.

As for the other cities... Kelethin has a 6 room acorn, but the rooms themselves are all the same size and pretty small. The Gorowyn 5 room house has three pretty large rooms, and all the rooms have reeeally high ceilings so you can make lofts with tables and solid rugs if you desire. The circular dimentions can be hard to work around at times, though. I've never had a mansion in Freeport or Qeynos, so can't really comment there.

People on the official forums have been stumping for SOE to increase item limits and add larger houses. Perhaps they will now that they have someone actually dedicated to housing issues and carpenters.

That would be nice. I love Neriak and want to stay there, but like I said earlier, the rooms are pretty small.

The Gorowyn ones are gorgeous. The problem is, they're in Gorowyn. Man, I hate that city. Worst layout EVER.

It would be nice to see them address some of the housing issues...
