Can you actually sit on the chairs in your house, or are they just for looks? Equally, can you lay on the bed? Cos I don't see the sense in it. 50+ chairs in a room, and everybody sitting on the floor *rofl*

Sadly not - you can use the /sit command but you just end up kneeling on the chair or bed. Mind you, I'd vote for a "/lay" command

If you have a feign, you can lay in your bed pretty well. Granted, you kind of look like you have a hangover or something.

I would cast my vote for interactive furniture!

Currently, the only interactive bits I can think of, are pets (and not as if I see any usefulness in making my carnivorous plant feign attack me), and the aa mirror. So, ah... I can get a hangover every 5min on my necromancer, and I can play chinese-kid-in-the-west on chairs I can fit my gnome butt on to. On those I don't fit, I'll sit on the armrests. Odd.

I don't play RP, but if I would, I'd be really upset about tiny little details like this. Either make housing a full fledged feature, or just fucking forget about it.

The only thing I use my house for is the mirror. Really. Not even making yourself a crafting room is of much unless you don't do writs (who doesn't do writs??).

So... "housing"... so much for that.

Technically you can do writs in your house. Granted they have charges but it's possible. I personally would rather them work on other things but being able to sit in chairs and interact in other ways that just plain make sense would be nice as well one day. Maybe after the skeletal revamp? Hah
