Default Niami's Weapon Preview

gu45weapon

She doesn't give exact stats, but damn it is very nice.

All those weapons will be in EVERY tier. There will be blessing and imbue for EVERY weapon.

I absolutely love the blessing on the weapons. Even if in t8 crafted weapons get blown away by epics it's still going to be great for alts in all the lower tiers.

With all the varied stats for each item it will also be very easy to have all your MC gear be very tailored to your character.

A priest that chooses to spec melee AAs can get a Sceptre, Mace, or Gavel and have it be imbued instead of blessed.

While a priest that chooses to spec for nukes can go for Wand, Gavel etc etc and go blessed instead of imbued.

What I'm wondering is if say a bard/crusader could grab a imbued for primary slot and a blessed for 2ndary and have both benefit them. Which IMO is fair because they depend on both spell and melee damage to do damage on a very regular basis.

hmm i love how that flamberge looks.
Wonder if that imbue option really works with behind and in-front but in general i like the idea of having different option for imbuement.

Crusaders cannot dual wield - so unless the new imbue can go on a shield/symbol it'll just be bards.

the positional abilities should work, since there have been items using those mechanics since the throne room raid zone was released near the end of EoF.

I'm not sure how I feel about the imbue options for in-front/behind because I can see some unfortunate side-effects...one poorly timed proc on a brigand who moved front to get something from the gouge line off (front/side only CA) and they pull aggro. IMO it'd be better to make it either toggleable or put it in as a third option when crafting.

I was thinking the same thing about swashies, Tesar. If the swash moves to in front of the mob to land their front-only CA, then they're gaining additional aggro. Of course, that swash has hate transfer, but still, hate gaining procs are not ideal for any scout. It doesn't look like they thought this one through.

So, does this mean that they are NOT going to merge Weaponsmiths with Armourers as was rumoured a while back, along with Carpenters and WW's?

Cant find the link sorry...

Never played a crusader. I only assumed cause I have a Bruiser, played my brothers Guardian.

Also the rogue and bruiser can spin the mob for that untimely aggro proc as well.

The rogues self proc deaggro is more then enough to counter balance the hate proc on those weapons. Especially since the weapon ( the aggro portion ) only procs in the front of a mob.

The hate proc will make little to no difference in hate positions for a scout.
