How do i flip items?

Hey guys and gals.....first off let me apologize for being a complete nub.

My question is how do i flip an item vertically? When i use my mouse scroll button, it flips it horizontally.

Any thoughts? I've spent way too much time pressing random buttons to hope it will work.

PS. Any decorating tips would be appreciated.

you cant flip vertically.

There are a few items that you can flip but of course those are items that attach to walls.
