    Default Ability Modifier

    Hi folks,
    Ive tried search but not getting an answer so:-

    I got a couple of mob drops yesterday that had along the lines of "+3 ability modifier" listed as one of the stats..

    Can someone please tell me which ability is actually modified, and what is actually means by +3??

    Wow, in the tradeskill and home decor section? Really?....

    But btw, it adds to combat arts, spells, and heals

    has nothing to do with tradeskills. Helps you kill stuff better. For now, just think of it as another stat like STR/STA/AGI/INT/WIS.
    Will become more important when you get higher lvl.

    Ability modifier increases the damage/healing of your spells and combat attacks.

    For example, if you had a spell that healed 100-200 hit points, then the +3 ability modifier would make it heal 103-203 hit points.

    Ability modifier is limited to 50% of the total actual healing/damage -- so if you had 80 ability mod, the 100-200 spell would do 150 (100+50) - 280 (200+80) points of healing.
