Question: What would be my best bet with adornments to raise my DPS. ATM i'm using soulfire sabre and GDoH. My Grp set up is Fury, Illusionist, Warlock, Wizard and Necro/Conj/ or another Warlock. I get all the melee DPS buffs. Right now i have the +1% Damage Spell Crit chance adornment on both of my weapons. Really dont need Phantom ones because i have no issue with power.

And another thing, what buffs are the best to run? i usually have up Aria, Alin, Bria, Self, and Dove...but since i have an illusionist and a warlock, should i drop dove and throw up haste or raxxyls?

Get the Vampiric proc or the Magical proc. I don't know the exact names offhand, but it shouldn't be tough to look them up. Especially since you have a Warlock in your group (assuming he's propogation specc'd), you'll benefit a lot from them.

Run Aria's, Alin's, Raxxyl's, Haste, Bria's in every situation.

Swap Raxxyl's with your ward buffs when necessary (mayong, avatars, etc).

I usually swap Opus for the ward buffs (both maxed in EoF tree atm.) since Raxxyl's gives ~300 extra HP for the mages.
Since I'm usually merely casting in situations where I apply that buff, and there is rarely any other melee class in my group, that seems like the better choice for my group (in that setup).

The 300hp from Raxxyl's is pretty much negible IMO. I'd rather run haste for me and the other melee in my group if there is one than give the mages some false security about that 300 hp saving them when they pull agro/ eat an AE to the face.

First off - sry for nekropost, but didn't want to create a new Threat

So with thd Di'Zok girdle from blue chardok shinies and some other nice gear, mana should never ever be an issue i guess

or do you prefer wearing the belt from plunders camp faction and therefor have anything else for mana managment? vampiric adornments?

what do you use in T8 and on which weapons? just curious about anything changing

However in T7 i loved my vampiric adorns! But due to the fact im always with a warlock in mage group, i consider going for more dps

i prefer +pierce/slash adorns in weapons, becose my hit chance in VP is still lower then i wont

oh well, never thought about that since we are in T2 since this week, but might be a good point - are those legedary?

I have only the anaphylaxis and still soulfire - could not get my hand on the cutter, but I'm doing crypt every night. So maybe those treasured adorns with dmg proc are good enough till i have some decent one and we arrive in VP

I would probably say Vampric mainhand and + Piercing offhand (if you can afford the fabled).

i am using the 2% spell crits on both my 1 handers. ,ostly because VP is spell/mage friendly so it helps more than vampiric.
