Also your Chaos Anthem (Kian's) is way too low. Use this on incoming when the tank is pulling the mob back and you're running to get into melee range.

So does Painful Lamentation (Alin's). IMO, one of the most underprioritized spells of a troubador.

Lamentations, underprioritized? Guess it must be for me, I dont use it on single targets... I take it I should?

I used to always nuke it just like shrill etc, but as my autoattack has gotten better (higher delay weaps, more melee crit, more STR) I've become reluctant to use Lamentations, due to its long cast time. I have 6.0 and 4.0 weaps and cast time down to the usual 1.36s, but still... do you all use it when its up?

I hit it every time that lights up Chix. Even if it's a single target, painful lamenations is great to use in between other shit coming up and your auto-attack.

And like Dants said to the other dude, use Overture every time it's up. It's usually #2 on my parses behind piercing.

I broke 2k in throne room on trash with a little help from TC for a few mobs. I was averaging about 1600 up until Ballbuster. This was my first raid after a 25 day hiatus, 6 masters and rest adept3 and so-so gear. I think after some revamping of my hotbars and some upgraded weapons and spells I can see myself averaging around 2100 if we ever find a steady lock for our mage group. MG can do wonders for my play style.

Ok, one more ?. Whats the usual ZW for your auto atk? Most i have seen mine is around 12-16% (6-8% for each slash and pierce) i'm sure it will go up quite noticably once i upgrade from the junk legendary i am using but looking for a general idea.
(oh and still no non grp buffs, other than magma seed and the wiz melee proc and occaisonaly apply toxin if assassin in grp)

Also thanks for the input from before, last korsha trash parse was up to 1950 and best parse on a name is up to 2.4k in protectors, so its taken about a month but think i am starting to get this troub thing down.

12-16% seems kinda low. 25-40% should be more realistic with decent weapons.

Don't underestimate good weapons, they're still the #1 factor for our DPS.

When I was playing Slamdar still, auto-attack damage accounted for anywhere from 30-35% of my damage, hence why I constantly bitched about Percision when it used to daze me.

VP trash I zonewide 2000-2300. My record, probably on the stupid drake, was a lil over 3100. Of course buffs change so it varies a little.

Ranged fights in VP are about 1100-1400. In general about 1400 overall for the named.

Read here some time ago that T8 mastercrafted melodic armor is better for dps than T7 fabled EoF set. I think due to +45 spell and ca damage as well as +3 pierce and slash that might well be true. I spent 1P to buy 5 pieces and will try this out next week. Anyone can confirm higher parses with this stuff?
