/sigh of course it doesnt affect fighters, but it sure as hell affects that wizard that is providing hate through amends to the fighter. That is not a good thing LOL
and i did not include a short list of this troub's antics/mistakes (nor his name) in the original post because i wanted honest opinions of his post without having the troubs here prejudge him. I am not out to blacklist this troub nor make him look like the worst troub ever.
this troub was not our #1 troub, and his raid experience was lacking, so he was best utilized by the guild by having BD on raids. his dps was 700-900 less than the other troub, and he just was green in the raid department period.
i am not out for a pissing contest with him, just a serious critique as to what he posted, whether it is good for him (or me) or not.
the raid force is not fully geared up like the elite guilds on guk, nor are they in VP. some are very experienced raiders, but there are a few (like runningwild) who have never really been in a guild that raids the current content and the learning curve is huge.
because of this, and his unwillingness to do anything the guild leader and officers had asked of him he was booted from the guild.
There are so many incidents of his rude behavior, disrespect of guildmates and just plain being an asshat i could have listed, but regardless of this being called eq2 flames, i generally wanted to stick to the playstyle of a troub.
I have learned a few things from this thread as well, and i can only hope that he has also.
as for bladedance, there are several fights i can think of where at least for now its something our guild prefers the bards/swashies to have. When we get to where we blow through the content then it probably wont be an issue (like in MMIS eventually we didnt need to us aoeblock on those mobs to get them burned down that last 10%)
that is where the AA spec mirror comes in though, and the learning of new encounters. He calls it a crutch because he is against having it. I call it a necessary tool for an up and coming raid guild to learn the encounters (when necessary, you don't need it for a lot of fights, but it sure does come in handy for some, whilst progressing through t8)
