Where is the best place/area to mine for Xegonites?

Actually I'd advise against this. The nodes seem to respawn slower (might be imagining it). I got mine on temple grounds isle at the ruins close to HoS. But I hear Bixie isle is also good.

I ran laps between Temple and Gazer... granted I was the only troub on the server on this step when i started... may be too may to do that on your server.

TT was pretty well camped here too so i did rounds on Guardian, Blackwind, and Whisperwind in Barren Sky, never had to wait for respawns doing this either.

This is a good suggestion here.. though when I was on this step I came across many who wanted the area and I was able to bribe them off with either some spongy or a ton of adamantite lol. (if they were not a troub)

The one troub I did encounter left me to my area since I was further ahead. When I finished I let her know and she came with me to the turn in and got to hail the guy a few xego short :P

Breeding grounds, TT. Land on the island then head right, up the mountain, there will be an area of Drakes. Lots of nodes, not much low level competition due to agro and not many people seem to go there (At least on Splitpaw, and i was harvesting there for a while).

Also good place to complete several collections.

Where i went too. BREEDING GROUNDS. After you land on pad turn and look into the island and spot the droag tower to your right. The island's mountain line starts right behind it and wraps around the island. But on the other side of this tower and beginning part of the mountain wall is a small area with about 15 heroic drakes, grayed out at 80. In the middle of these drakes are roughly 15 really FAST spawning Xego nodes. Last week did all 10 xegos in one sitting with hardly moving.
