Cast order: Self - macro it on top of PoTM
Then depending on the encounter
Healers - if the tank is having issues staying up - usually longer casters like shamans and clerics since their reactives/wards have a longer recast on them than druid spells.
DPS - if the fight is going well! Predators, Illusionists, Warlocks, etc.

I honestly dont use it on the tank often, but this could be useful in a place where the tank is using their 'saves' or snap aggro cas often.

Have like 4 macros for that:

1. my actual target - that one i use in groups or for the main tank and such when he needs to fire of some taunts rapidly
2. response tell - some in our raid have a tell macro for me to give em JC - when i push my response macro they get it + a tell - nice for assa with decap or any other class which wants to use their long recool spells
3. Healers - have 3 in this macro - MT Templer, MT Mystic and the OT Templer, since druids can fire of their heals pretty quick anyways
4. DD macro - the one i use most. On top is our Brig, Assa, Wizz, Warlock - i would suggest it depends on how your people perform. And when i see on the parser that someone is lazy, he is going down the list or even deleted :P

oh and of course the self jester after potm, but i have a seperate macro for jcap myself, since sometimes i am still immun after casting potm, but during the last 5 sec of potm i can cast jcap on me again

That is pretty much still good.

Don't JCap an Illusionist unless asked, same for Necro.

Would it be worth putting the Jcap on the Necro's if you had 4 of them in a raid?

My thoughts are as follows

1 trubie + 4 Necros == Continous Life Burn

the only question is -- who would go to the loony bin first the tank or the healers for the necros?

Usually for me it's Brigand on inc, then cast potm, then jc myself, then jc sorcerer(s), then fairly random or necro until Brigand isn't immune.

Certain fights justify giving jc to the templar for sanctuary. Sometimes jc to a druid for shell. Other than that I wouldn't use it on healers unless the fight is very unusual (like Leviathan etc).

well I know from experience that the JCap timer works very well for timing the Life Burn Immunity and with 4 necros it is theoretically possible to have a continous life burn (Ie a necro always has it available and can cast it as soon as they get the JCap and you can just cycle th JCap between them.

No it's not.

5 minute reuse on LB, w/ JCap = 3.33 min = 3 min 20 sec.
5 sec casting time
10 sec duration
30 second immunity

t=0, mob engaged, N1 starts to cast lifeburn
t=5, N1 lifeburns
t=40, N2 lifeburns
t=75, N3 lifeburns
t=110, N4 lifeburns

N1 needs to be able to lifeburn at t=140, but he can't because he still has 1 min 45 sec left on his recast. In fact, you'd need about 3 more necros in your raid, to be able to do this continually, which would put you at 7 necros.
