[Munchkins]

Attempt to convert Kall's dirge loot thread to troub. I've always focused on more melee based stuff more than straight caster so I haven't put in things such as Jarsath Robe etc. Not sure where our more straight caster troubs would rate them.

I got the Circlet of Necrosis and well, it pwns. Stacks with Trooper Boots or RoTM and procs constatly. This and the Twelve Tone thingy (it will be mine!) have to be THE earrings to get.

The earrings are a tough slot to choose. It depends. If you have access to Trak's earring, then you can throw that in there also.

So what happens is you have 3 really good earrings:

Twelve Tone
Anhiliator's Hoop
Circlet of Necrosis

Given the current state of lag, Twelve Tone loses some value. But between those 3, you can't go wrong.

I really wish they made Twelve Tone into a wrist. That would solve so many problems.

You can get Sash of Pain or use belt as a viable haste slot. You can't really do shit with your wrist slots

I dunno, Phara Dar drops a bracelet with +10dps. That seems nice. Dropped for us today, but ranger has like 3x my dkp. Booo.

Since our VP set doesn't have many casting bonuses besides spell damage, my thoughts were to stack casting jewlery. I use Tormented Bracelet of doom and Will-bender from chelsith. Once i get Marrow Song from SoH i'll drop my Faceless shield and pick up either a haste cloak or the haste collection belt and depending on which of those i get, i'll fill the other slot with the mastercrafted majestic cloak or the casting reward from the aformentioned colection.

As for casting armor, since the above poster didn't rank certain casting items very well, I'd say that Hood of dark dealing pwn's all, Jarsath robe should be worn till you get your magnetism coat and i think dpswise, its just good sense to spec for casting since troubs are more caster friendly, are more likely to be in caster groups and have more spells than melee attacks. Also, a bard i used to know parsed it out and determined that the bards in our guild (both dirges and troubs) parsed higher when they stacked casting bonuses and procs instead of melee bonuses and procs.

The bow is actually quite good, as long as you don't use it for ranged combat.
