Its every spell, so try recasting a group/raidwide buff to get it up pre pull.

A dirge in my guild who got it ran some tests and it only gives a bonus to combat arts and spells, not melee autoattack damage like the wording would suggest.

This is why the item is so powerful.

Cast PoTM with a full raid and you have 24 ~8% chances which is a guaranteed proc. Hopefully the buff can overwrite itself. Did anyone test this?

The other troub in my guild got it. For whatever reason, she barely saw it proc at all and definitely not during PoTM. The only times she saw it proc was when buffing and on the occasional debuff.

heck, you forgot to say on epic content... heroic does just fine but still won't proc on my hostile spells, just debuffs, buffs and my bow shots.

Because I don't see the proc icon during raid I can assume one of two things.... group buff conflict, or visual buff icon being over ridden by something else...(my guess is fae immolation/Fury). During raid I sometimes seen the avatar visual for the proc going off (which looks like a mezzer circle at the feet, then your avatar shying away) but the proc was never up in window, but fae imolation was.... anyone confirm if they have same visual?

Anyone else experience abysmal hit rates with their Talon? I like the damage it can put out (5k crits with dps mod buffs) but sometimes I see it with a 40% hit rate. This is even when I'm not using the horseshoe. Are any other troubs who have this weapon having these problems? Is the incandescent blade actually better?

It's because it's a piercer and your piercing might be a little lower than your slashing.

Every since the hitrate change though, it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

For the IB to be better, you'd have to be hitting at atleast -20% less than your mainhand, which I don't see how that would be possible.

Well like I said I have seen 40% hit rates on level 88 mobs like Byzola and Trak, while the Axe is doing 60-65%. I will look into increasing my piercing a bit though and see how it does then. I know the set gloves have +8 but then I would lose my blackened alloy gloves, but that would free me up to use either TS boots or Manip hood.

Picked this item up last night, I had passed on it before but decided to see if it was worth using. Not tested it on the wall vs my bow yet, maybe I'll get some time tonight. My main concern is the loss of the +18DPS mod Vol'Drath gives me vs the Hand's crit/affect. The stat(s) from either item is not important.

\aITEM -1052334673 1816418142:Hand of the Maestro\/a - (Kpul D`Vngur, Shard of Hate)

Thoughts?

I'm waiting on them to change it to a charm slot. I will probably be waiting a while.
