I am asking because on raids I (Wizzy) parse around 3k and on a few miadens runs with different troubies I parsed around 3k lol.

Now with one troubie I was parsing 4-6k with an average of around 5k. What was different? Are there some casting order tricks or AAs that maximize MAge DPS?

From what I understand raid DPS, generally should be higher not lower due to all the debuffs...

Troub AA's are pretty straightforward. All PvE troubs should be specced either identically or very similarly. The differences are usually in personal dps-related AA's (like poisons OR bladedance).

The biggest boosts to your dps from the troub will be aria, dktm, allegro and potm. Some troubs use potm incorrectly, some also incorrectly prioritise jesters cap. If I have a wiz in group (and the brig is immune), I'll jc the wiz on inc for vg etc, then cast potm immediately. That means I can cap potm before it expires and the wizzy's VG is up again for more good spam very soon. Simple stuff like that done correctly makes a difference.

Apart form that I dunno.. Did you parse these fights? Did the RNG just hate you on one day? (resists, less crits etc).

if you need more information on troub AAs, please visit the stickied thread.

it may be more than just your troub (check for other classes like illusionist, shadowknight, etc). parsing in a heroic zone isn't really a good way to test your dps. stuff just dies too fast. it's easy to cast a couple different spells or get some variation in crit and damage rolls to show pretty big swings in dps.

I found out the troub I grouped with did have the mythical weapon. Does that equate to a 2k boost though? Is it that uber LOL?

SO there's timing of the spells, proper AAs...

If he has his mythical he's unlikely (at the moment) to suck - which will help. And the mythical raises base spell damage for the group by 10%.
