Was recently brought up in the WW Troub channel, and I'm having the effect too, BCG proc chance drops from 1.8/min to 1.7/min etc etc.

What seemed weird is that not every Troub seems to have that. I didn't follow the WW channel that day, was only told about it by a guildy and I don't know that the conclusion was.

Hence I'd like to investigate the cause.
- Is it different from server to server? (unlikely imo)
- Is it a combination of equipment/buffs that causes it? (Will test that tonight)
- Is the item bugged?

Anyway, if anyone has any insights, please share.

I've been seeing this long before epics were introduced. Always assumed its a diplay bug or some minimal rounding error... dont even wanna know how messed up the game code would have to be for that stuff to actually happen.

You know, I'm fairly certain it's because they fucked up and it's not an actual display issue like most thought, but an actual in-game issue that the longer your delay is the lower your proc chance on SPELL procs is, which makes no sense.

How can you see something that is probably caused by the epic before it was introduced? Do you know of other items that have this effect on gear (or at least the displayed value)?

They have nothing to do with it, as far as I could find out.

Poked around with buffs and gear. Nothings seems to change. Turns out Nathsar does the same thing when equipped in primary.

It's a common occurrence in the defiler world. I can't tell you if it's just a graphical display bug or if it really does change the proc chance but your weapon's delay will greatly affect procs. This bug has been around for a very long time to boot, at least 3 expansions.
