I can confirm our mez does work on some CoA names, where Coercer's won't.

Just saw it the other day, when outta sheer distraction and maybe too much confidence, the shit hit the fan and a solution had to be sought. Thing is, the second to last name and the last name both were mezed, although unfortunately, "someone's action awakens X" happened as well.

The coercer, though, kept getting an immune msg. I, on the other hand, kept getting the respective icon plus the above mentione msg shortly thereafter... haha...

Now, I'm aware some mobs, for instance some golems in VoES, are immune albeit control effects like cheap shot will still show as active. Helot Skeletons are an example. However, in these cases, "soandso broke mez" never happens, cause well, the mobs were never mezzed to begin with.
