I doubt seriously you need a de-agro as a bard. Its not like you're spiking 10k nukes.

Wrong, the deagro is very helpful, not to mention Evasive Manuevers is your second highest damage combat art, and the minute recast is not that bad, especially if you happen to cap yourself.

Seems you're correct Gulpen on the CA part, I don't remember seeing that damage portion to the AA in Beta and never bothered to look at it again on live. I guess I'll be adding that End-line on the next AA ding.

I still don't see a need for another deagro.

I bought it for just another CA. Later i found with all the mem-wipe trash mobs its nice as a deaggro.

So, is it confirmed that this aa works properly? Simply going by the description it seems like it might make AE DoTs tick faster by 30% as well...which obviously would not be wise.

With all the mana procs our groups have I usually turn off Power Ballad first if I need to run Performer avoidance (I don't have any set pieces that remove conc slots yet). I get almost 800 additional physical MIT from performer avoidance with Strengthened Links maxed, which adds a lot to your groups survivability. I love it.

Zarakon adds (wraiths) are a good example of where you would want a good deaggro spell.

Saw it asked a couple times but don't believe I saw an answer as it was sandwiched in between a larger discussion, but what about Bladedance? I just recently started raiding and seem to get asked if I have a decent amount of time so debating changing from what's posted on Ballads first post to a "raid spec" to get it. I already kept the extra 5pts in turnstrike for myself. Right now I have DKTM and Bladedance as endlines, and down to poison on agi. I did sadly loose the sta line DA buff which I did keep in my other AA mirror.

What do you guys think?

Bladedance is fucking useless. I said over and over on the beta forums that they need to revamp this skill to make it stay up on incoming damage and shorten the recast the 5 minutes. What happens is that you cast bladedance, then you attack the mob, the mob has a damage shield and that damage dispells bladedance instantly. They failed to do this and the bard community responded my making that AA obsolete. GG.

Even on those mobs Bladedance had a limited use when the mobs still used to AE on inc and you had to stay in range on pull for whatever reason.
RoK had one encounter where it made sense to have it in the end, namely Trakanon, again on pull.

Something I was never sure about is: If you have a ward on you and fight a mob with a damage shield, and the ward eats the entire damage... will Bladedance get dispelled? Because often, BD was up when I had expected it to be dispelled a few hits ago, and every time I noticed that I had a shaman in group.
