I wouldn't call bladedance worthless. I find it very useful for some initial pulls, especially if you're unsure about the encounter. Knowing that your group is safe when you pull the mob and it unleashes his AE on the way in to killzone is pretty handy, imo. It will kill your personal dps, but boosts overall safety and survivability of the raid.

Of course when AE's start going through bladedance no matter what, that is when it would become worse than useless hehe

Initial pulls with an AE ? Stand next to your fury and you're fine!
BD in the middle of fight? Forget about that quickly since it breaks on damage and in almost every name fight you got a damn dot or else

Tip - pull the mob and see what he does. Next pull, you know what you have to deal with. Please try to remember BD has a retardedly long recast timer. Swash and druids have much better equivilents.

There's not many mobs in RoK I haven't fought - some avatars.. that's about it.. And can honestly say the only mob I've found bd useful on is Trakanon.

You might still want the option of bd in case you ever pull him, so it's worth getting a mirror. But if you RL tells you to spec bd for anything else, he's probably a tard and you should punch him or something.

What the fuck is up with all of these noob post about starting new troubadours? Is there really that many guilds out there searching for one and thus providing a breeding pool for idiots that can't read spell descriptions and formulate how the class works and provide more precise questions?

1. It is role, not roll.
2. Just because your guild sucks and requires you to have bladedance for encounters does not make you a retarded troubadour. I do however think that 1 of the AA specs should be for bladedance just primarily for trying new encounters.
3. 33%+ of my damage came from auto-attack damage alone... Saying that a troubadour should not melee is fucking retarded.

Learn to play the fucking class before you go off spouting random shit you pull from your ass... It only makes you look retarded doing so.
