I may be a relatively new bard, but I'm a seasoned player... and we wear chain for a reason. We are melee based with a bonus of spells, and it would be ignorant to just stand back and cast, IMO. We are scouts, so act like one, and don't ignore the melee damage.

Yeah, short fight from SoH but look spells and melee. And i have only been a troub since the end of december, so i guess i classify as one of the new bards.

Edit: Oh yeah was still in BD spec since i didn't go change after last Trak run. And as you can see no lifedraw on this one either heh.

Well of course spell > melee in a short multimob-fight with both PoTM and VG up... the point from earlier stands, if you are averaging only 28% melee based damage then you are not doing it right.

Uhh, i was agreeing with the point. True though not the best parse supporting it. but even so i think melee accounted for about 1.3k dps on that one. which if you aren't meleeing is a big chunk to lose. think i had a few others on that run in the 4ks where melee was more like 36-38%.

It's so dissapointing with the reintroduction of lag, there's so much variance in my parses these days.

Nice parse, btw. What surprised me on that one was Burning Affliction at 3%.
