Song setup
I looked 7-8 pages ahead and didnt see a thread about this so dont scream at me if it exists somewhere..
What is your song setup for group and raid? Since the only time i raid is in pick-ups(small guild with irl friends i have) im most interested in an instance group setup.
I choose Brias, Arias, Balletic, allegretto and switch between song of magic and raxxyls(if everyones debuffing hit rates should be ok imo). Depends on how higher leveled the mob is.
The only difference would be if a lllusionist with mythical is in group, i would remove attack speed. Read somewhere that our mana regen is worthless too when Illu is present. Had someone linked me the weapon but couldnt figure out why 8(.
Raid: arias, balletic, arcane , song of magic and hp regen maybe... My raid experience is so limited im truly clueless. with 2 troubs in raid one plays arcane and the other elemental chorus is the only thing im pretty sure of is a good idea.
Please post your setup and suggestions!

Re: Song setup
Okay, posting some random experiences, might add more tomorrow. It's pretty late and I'm tired, I hope they make sense ;)
- Aria is a must, don't ever remove that one. The proc very noticably affects your group's DPS
- HP regen is useless in a raid, let's say you have the master and put all AA points in it, that is like 145 HP regenerated for every person in your group every 6s. Any healer will easily do multiple times that amount without even blinking.
- Song of Magic is a bit situational, in your regular group spellcasters should be relatively high on +disruption etc, so Song of Magic will do little. This changed a bit with the recent changes to RoK epic mob resists, and is a nice supplemental buff to run, especially against orange con mobs - if you have a free concentration slot. While the buff sounds nice, looking at the hard numbers it will barely affect spell resists in a raid setting, as soon as your raid is debuffing (even if just a little)
- Balletic is pretty much useless. The few melee AEs that will hit your group are not avoided 90% of the time, and the buff changes little.
- Mana regen is a must if you don't have an Illu with a mythical in your group. If the Illu has his mythical, unless you fight a mob with heavy power drain, the proc will suffice to keep your group's power up.
- Arcane and Elemental resist buffs are situational too. Unless you know that a mob has an AE of that type, don't waste a conc slot. What makes them viable at all is if you put the AA points in it to add the ward to them. Also, if people in your raid have the Bloodthirsty Choker from Shard of Fear, you can help minimize the damage that the wearers take from the proc.
- Haste should always be run if you don't have an Illu with the mythical. Even then if you can't get close to 100 haste, running it might be worth it. Remember procs though, like if your Dirges have their mythical weapon, their CoB is raid wide and will add significant haste/dps mod most of the time, so the value you see in the persona window when out of combat might not reflect the actual in-combat situation all the time.
- Never ever forget about the Deaggro song (lvl 65). A hate gain reduction of 34% does help the tank a lot.
- Raxxyl's is nice for yourself, and the STA bit will add a few HP points to the group members, so it's always nice to run.
In any case, when you see buff/AA advice on these forums, keep in mind that most of the posters
- assume your raid is running with at least a few mythical weapons
- have equipment that affects buff/AA choices.

Re: Song setup
In addition: What I used to run before our raid force got the mythicals:
- Deaggro
- Haste
- Mana Regen
- STR/STA
- Aria
- Self-Buff (no conc)
I'm running the same buffs plus eigher Requiem of Reflection or Song of Magic or Arcane ward now. This all depends on group and raid setup. Ask the meleeing members in your group how much haste they have, and decide if running haste is necessary/beneficial. If I have a group member that requires haste, but it puts me at 140 haste or so (without CoB), I'll still run it, but swap haste gear out, and dps gear in - stuff like that.

Why in the name of all that's holy would you use Balletic in raid? You see a tank in your group? If you do you need to find a new guild because your raid leader is a dribbling wheelchair kid who hasn't got a clue. And hp regen? Run the setup Uyaem suggests tbh.

Re: Song setup
Please read my whole post before rampaging meta. I said im truly clueless when it comes to raid because my guild dont raid. And thats why im here asking, right? I guess your right about balletic, its just im so used to it(from grouping).
Thanks Uyaem for the more explaining answer, it will help me out a lot. And im glad Attack speed is a must, it has always been a favorite of mine ^^.

Unless you don't have a fighter in your group you should use it.
