I was wondering if there is any chance Troubs could get more cc options. It is very common to see grp's either want a dirge and or chanter for thier grp. And I don't blame them and it sucks only really getting picked up for raids.(edit: ok doesn't suck but I enjoy grouping just as much as raiding.) Thinking now that chanters are so good at dps that Troubs could see a boost in thier cc powers. And well every grp needs a tank and everyone knows dirges go better with tanks then troubs. Short term grp mez, long recast, along with about 10seconds cut off our single target mez recast would be great. I would even give up runspeed aa's for it. Or give up mmm countersong is perty useless, think I use it once a week. Could get rid of charm as well, though I do use it often as a back up mez substitute. <!-- Edit Notes -->

it is a great idea that has allready been spammed on official forums,
and instead there was the nerf on the single target mez and all non enchanter CC spells.

But it will help troubs by giving them acess to that group niche spot reserved for enchanters.

and no countersong is not a disposable spell,
most of our CAs and spells are though given they only bring dps which is easily tweaked,
the str debuff as well as i've seen no serious damage reduction through testing.

I'm not saying we should loose buffs.

I propose we get a new ae mez and time cut off the recast on our single target mez.

countersong useless? mez is useless. you cant mez in raids, and there is no heroic content needing of mezzes. It would be cool if they made difficult heroic content, but if top players needed mez for it, the noobs would whine and it would be nerfed like normal anyway.

I don't understand why the trouby would inturrupt their debuffing of Nexona and stream of JCaps to mezz the adds here when there are more than one chanter on the raid who can do it. Do other troubys really mezz on Nex? Seems silly.
