Got dexterous sonata last nite only to find out that I can't tell if it works or not, doesn't show in persona stats.

So is it possibly bugged or do the effects of the bonus work in a different way then described?

Dunno... test it with Chaos Anthem on a training doll or something? With sonata up your crits should be slightly higher.

My understanding is that it increases the damage that a crit does by 10%, not increase crit amount. I hope this is the case since most raiders are nearing crit caps as it is without gear from the new raid zones.

The enhancement to DKTM in the Troubadour Shadows line adds 5% more crit to it tho.

That is my understanding of how it works too (+10% to the amount of a critical attack or heal) and would explain why there was no visible change on our personal stats. Assuming that really is what it's doing, I'd say it's one of our better AA picks.

It adds .1 to the crit multiplier making it 1.4 instead of 1.3 for most things. It's good, but not as good as it seems. It doesn't do anything to min +1 crits and is really only ~7.5% increase on normal crits.

Well sure, it could be better (couldn't everything?), but for only one point it's a pretty decent return - especially when you figure that many people have a high crit percentage anyway.
