If I have 2 items with Greater bane and 2 items with regulair bane, will the regulair one have any effect on the greater ?

Ok. So I have 4 set piece from VP (BP, Shoulders, Bracers and Hat), would you think it would be better ditching the BP and shoulders for the Lesser Void Shard stuff? I dont have any Greater void stuff, and I have the Harmonic gloves atm.

My thinking is that the 4 piece set is pretty handy for the potm boost, and that getting the Void stuff is only a personal boost.

On another point. The hit rate has dropped massively since TSO. I didnt take much notice before because my dps has increased slightly since launch, but on an instance run recently (Kor-Sha) I was hitting around 50% on orange trash. Yellow trash on raid was around 85% (Palace), which i understandable with all the buffs. 50% tho? my hit rate was never that low.

Yes, the Void Shard BP is worth losing the 4-piece set bonus for. It adds a 25% (first one) and 30% (upgraded one) gear proc to potm. You obviously have your mythical, so that makes it raidwide. Extremely powerful. Then you might as well get the void shoulders since you already lost the 4-piece bonus, or you can try to get your VP gloves to get the 4-piece bonus back.

As for hit rates, I don't save my parses so I don't know off hand.
