Double Attack percentage wrong??

I have recently decided to try sword and board, I am up to appr. 67 in dbl attack but over the last few parses I have not seen more then 40% double attack. Am I wrong in my assumption that the 67 is a percentage of Double attack or are we bugged and not able to get that amount using sword and board??

How are you determining you only have 40% Double Attack Rate?

you need to know 1 thing you are at 67 DA so each hit give you 67% to DA so its a random dice on 67% for each hit. So 1 combat you can have 40% chance of DA its what we call a random, another combat you will hit for 87% if your lucky on dice.

You can double attack a miss. You should have rephrased your post to:

Ok so what your saying is that I only hit 40% of my double attacks? Or that I just got really unlucky 3 times in a row??

To find the Double attack percentage I was using ACT it shows a breakdown of all attacks and the number of double attacks registered.

I understand the SOE random crap generator, and I am willing to believe that it was effecting my numbers I just wondered if anyone else had seen something like this. I thought I read something like it before.

Well, that'd be your problem. You are looking at how 40% of your attacks were double attacks. Which would be an 80% Double Attack rate............

Dants you sure about that last quote there ?

I would say its impossible to DA a miss, cause the DA % chance will only kick in after you hit, to give a chance for a second one ..

That's how it SHOULD be atleast

I have that problem on MC when I did half a dozen training dummy fights a while ago. MC rate was consistently around 5% or so less than what it should have been, if I remember right. And these were multiple long fights. Can you MC on a miss, as well?
