I have always wanted one of these but I am unable to do it on my own. It would be very helpful to many if as a group we could compile a list of zones and name (I can do this), but if people could help submit what things are good from what names. Will have a list of all t8 needed/wanted gear. This includes instance gear as well. If you have some stuff to submit, please reply to this post in this form:

If you have any other comments about the gear, list them below that form. Over the next few weeks, I hope to have a full list of names, zones and drops so we can end the "What gear should I get" (a question I have asked multiple times) once and for all.

I know none of you know me, but I would really like to get this started. Thanks for your help!

I find these lists very helpful. The conjy sticky is a good example of a list that is kept up to date with the good items for each slot with links to lootdb and ingame links - everything you need to work out the rest. I want to know the names of the best troub items for each slot (and it helps to know the best non-raid items for each slot when gearing up). I have not seen a good list for troubs since TSO came out and the comments on the gear sticky confirm that it is wanted.

There has been some good discussion on voidshard armor on this forum, but is anyone using the jewelry or misc stuff? (Which pieces?) What non raid items are worth chasing in TSO? Who is game to write an up to date list of the best troub gear available?

Gear rating can be deceiving IMO. Having 1 or 2 of the best for slot pieces might not be the best choice for you. Rating a piece's overall value can be help ,but its no more important then rating your own stat needs. Raid buffed you want a min 100,100 dps/haste, next you want as close to 100% Da as you can get, next you want procs, the whole time you have to keep you melee and spell crit reasonably high while trying to get base damage increases in any slot you can.
Very few, if any, will every be able to complete a best piece for every slot build. That being said taking what would be the best for slot item might be a bad choice compared to an item the better fits your personal stat needs.

I recently swapped main from Troub to Bruiser, and I did a list for him, not much different from the one I would have for my Troub, so just posting it..
This contains instance loot onloy, no raid loot at all.
