Troubador stats

Hello all, im just wondering, if i would like to play a troubador what stats should i put my points in? What gear should i try to accumulate? Are there any resistances which are better then others? Im new to EQ2 and i am thinking of rerolling a troubador since i was playing bard in EQ and loved it. What role do the troubs have in groups etc same as in EQ?

To be honest, I don't think it really matters till later in the game. But anyways, Str/Int/Sta.

Str = Melee damage
Int = Spell damage
Sta = Health

In EQ2, coming from a person who played a bard to 65 in EQ and did light raiding, they are nothing alike. In this game, most everything is passive, and twisting is long gone. I haven't raided since early 2007, and my only play time since then was the free summer thing, but I love my Troub, switched from my Monk to Troub during the EoF beta.

Are you asking on AA points or just general character Stats?

Same gear as Melee, DA/MC with SC last, just keep in consideration you want Int and not just Agi.

Other than Mental, ie Nox/Elem/Divine. You'll find your Mental resists off the chart if you're not careful.
