Hey all, it seems that at the point my guilds progression is at that there is a lot of wrist items available and i was wondering opinions on combinations for the highest DPS. My guild can kill the following mobs:

All of Vp except trak
Thet-au-whatever
Strange stalker
Malevolence and Ire
1st named in Palace

So there is a lot of options here:
Captains flesh cord, Dark-Metal Ingot, Band of the stalker, Wrist of sharpened blades, or the shackle set from Palace of Ferzhuel

My MAIN reason for posting is Im wondering if the bonuses of the shackle set from Ferzhuel outweigh the stats on any other pieces obtainable at this point. Thank you for any and all opinions

I wear the shackle set almost exclusively. That proc can commonly do anywhere from 6-12% of zonewide dps, depending what you are killing. Imo, that is more valuable than anything you can get from the stuff your guild is killing.

I wonder if they will be as good after the proc nerf tomorrow. Haven't won either of them yet so I won't be able to check.

That could potentially change my opinion of that set. Early reports indicate they are still worth using, but I'll have to see for myself when raiding this weekend.

The rate was definitely nerfed, though. Went from 3.1 to 2.7 on my tooltip.

I wear only the melee wrist and experianced no difference on proc rate or damage output. They didn't nerf GVB in that sence, they changed the proc rate/dmg stacking for multiple items. So if you only wear one item there's no noticible change.

The raid members with multiple GVB seen a dramatic drop in DPS from the proc.

Having a bit of an issue now deciding which wrist set to wear. Last night I obtained

and picked up
\aITEM 1561763814 666336137:Wrist of Sharpened Blades\/a last week.

Prior to those two items I was wearing
\aITEM 2011754003 -527159997:Reinforced Void Brute Shackle\/a
\aITEM 975643034 -1044303568:Captain's Moldering Flesh Cord\/a

I've been trying to figure out which to wear as my primary setup. After parsing the sets differently it seems the Globes and Sharpened Blades is the best DPS setup for me. Mind you my DA had gotten pretty weak < 40% with TSO set pieces whereas my MC had hit ~80%, so just the added DA might be what was needed in my case.

Orginally I thought the 2 GVB items would win out but doesn't seem that 2 GVB is better. It might still be for places like Palace. More testing is required IMO.

I would still wear one GVB shakle and then depending on stats choose between sharpened blades and globes

Ooops my bad, teach me to post in the morning. I linked the wrong wrist. I picked up this aITEM 927060451 -436715802:Glowing Void-Pearl Bracelet\/a last night and not the Globes.

So ya I went with GVB (pearl bracelet) + sharpened blades.

On the next palace trash I'll trying out brute shackle + pearl and see if the 2 GVB does more than normal or if the proc is about the same. In which case I'll just keep the sharpened/pearl setup.

Pretty sure the Void Brute shackle > wrist of sharpened blades but meh.

The best wrist for us no question is the Zarrakon bangle. Has only dropped for my guild 1 time and I was the lucky bastard to get it.
