I would like to see us have a power feed. I mean it seems only fair, Dirges get a health feed right? They also get a single/group rez... CoB also does not have a root, while our spell of equal value roots. So I would also like to see root removed from PoTM.

Oh yea, not to try to take advantage too much, but I would like to see bards as a whole get a 50-100 dps increase for their zonewides across the board, by giving spells higher floor dmg values, or even higher ceilings to make it based on luck.

Screw the root, I can live with that just take the damn daze effect off of it. =/

Remove the daze from precision - it's a short-sighted ill effect and will only compound the class problems as the level cap increases. As auto-attack increases, this will completely screw the troubs raid dps.

There is a lot of stuff wrong with troubadours ATM:

1. The scaling of our buffs and debuffs is horrible.

2. We have spells that actually lower the DPS we put out if we choose to use them ( Sandra's, Clara's and PotM)

3. We have quite a few spells that are virtually useless including 2 AT's.

4. Our 50/70 special was made literally useless with LU 24, so was our charm.

So:

1. Fix the scaling issues.

2. Fix our broken spells, remove daze/root from PotM, remove powerdrain from Sandra's and make the CA do some decent damage similar in amount to Shrill or Eli's. Remove the stifle crap from Guviena's and make it do some decent amount of damage instead. I don't know about Clara's (yes we have bump, noone uses it though so /shrug), but as it is, it's useless.

3. I don't know about this one, but Demoralizing is shite, RoR is shite, our resist songs are shite, our defense song is shite. I'd settle for a compromise here and only get a fix to Demoralizing, make it a usefuld spell, if it truly is demoralising make it be decent. I don't know an encounter DPS / Haste debuff instead of the crap melee skill it is now which doesn't even matter on a orange raid mob.

4. Take away the lame control spells we have and give us something useful, Charm is shit, even in groups. Mezz can come in handy for soloing and maybe occasionally in groups but is useless on raids, Give us something decent, dirges get banshee, give us troubs a useful special aswell.

All in all, I'd be happy if the went through and did #1 and #2, if they could do #3 and #4 iI'd be extatic.

Don't remove the stifle. This is something I use quite a bit when grouping and occasionally, when soloing. It's powerful.

I do agree that the damage portion should be considerably stronger since a normal bow attack is stronger than it and has been for some time. Also, I liked being able to cast it while moving, so bring that back.

I think all our spells should be able to be cast on the run, I mean ffs, is it that big of a deal that we're jogging and singing at the same time?

Even though I don't play anymore, what I would like to have seen, is myself be able to say, "I am better than so and so" -- and the reason not being because I can out DPS them :l

For the next round of AAs, or even the possibility to have it on existing things (wouldn't know how to implement it though), I would like to see us be able to buff across raids. Power feed, for instance like mentioned above, cross raid hate debuff, or even a more powerful version of one of our group buffs, but for a single target. The drawback to this single target buff could be (here is where I might lose people) having to recast it constantly, the duration being up to the devs depending on whatever they use to keep the game balanced. (like MTG has a color wheel to keep things in balance)

Having the constant recasting would make the class more fun for me, cause JC gets very boring as it is the only buff I keep recasting, minus PoTM. I also think that it would increase the overall need for a troub for other reasons than an AFK (or at keyboard) buff bot that squishies pine for.

I fuggin hate recasting my buffs over and over again. There are mobs in EH that do this and it pisses me off to no end (seedlings, certain fairies, butterflies with the farstride unicorn, Treah...).
