guess I'll post my opinion since no one else seems to be posting anything constructive but bitching and choices based on aesthics. I'm going to assume that you're asking what the best Race is for the purposes of DPS.

If thats the case, then your best bet is either

Erudite for the 5% cast bonus (Casting Fury?) Racial.
Arasai for the Dark Envy Racial.
Dark Elf for the Fury of Innoruuk Racial.

Other than those 3 racials, I haven't really seen anything that would make much difference at level 80.
