uh, pure stats standpoint? dark elf has alot of nice stuff, its a dev favorite....which is why I made my dirge and now troubador, a dark elf. I hate how dark elves look, but as a troubador, you get a fun spell that turns you into a high elf untill canceled. it took over 25 magic make overs to get the high elf to look how i wanted him to(kept adjusting the dark elf's skin color and hair style to get the right one)...but, i have a high elf i like the looks of, and i have the deaggro, glide, temp melee and spell crit buff and invis movement speed and other dark elf lovins.

but yeah...if you are just starting out and not planning on hardcore raiding the character...make what you wanna look at for hours on end...even though i have the best of both worlds, its not the easiest to get

Hey there everybody, new to this site. Finally figured I would drop in and see what its about after it being referenced.

Anyways, just got back into EQ2 after about a year off. I play on Venekor Freep Side, mostly on my twinked defiler. But now I feel like leveling up a character to 80, never seen the high end game or pvp content, and I've decided on a Trouby. I love scouts and the guild needs em haha.

My only problem is the race factor. I've narrowed it down to 3, Kerra, Erudite, Ratonga.

First off I love Ratongas, 90% of my characters are them, and 15% Stealth Speed is decent, and crit.

Kerra seems very nice, 15% Stealth, 5% Incombat Speed, Power Boost, Fall Reduc and Crit.

Erudite seems more casting specialized. Int, Spell Crit, AE Attack, Casting Speed Increase and Power Boost and Power Regen.

Is the 5% Casting Speed > 5% In Combat Speed and 15% stealth?
I know its a preference, but what would help more later on. I know we kite so I figured the 5% would be nice.
