Even my meager dps got hit. I lost 500+ dps on training dummies, and with as crappy as my parse is, thats HUGE.

I still wonder what makes the devs justify giving bards such horrid DPS. I mean, they argue that its because of utility, but thats bullshit. think about it, check out a enchanters parse, even after the nerfs, then compare it to ours.

you need 4 enchanters per raid in most cases...but rarely will you need more than two troubs. the fact that our spells hit for such low numbers ensures that the best way to get DPS is from melee and auto attack. I find myself wishing that the devs would offer us more long distance DPS so I wouldnt die every AOE or every time the mob is accidentaly turned...I know that gear with crit mit will allow me to live longer, but, I still feel that if they make my buffs for casters, I should have more spell abilities and less melee if they have our class set up the way it is.

the bottom line, is that I don't feel we do enough DPS...I know I suck, but the sad thing is, that since so much of my DPS is from melee, I HAVE to have every single buff from the caster group to keep up with dirges(perhaps this will change with better gear), and that even dirges still arent parsing near what other semi utility classes are parsing(rogues and enchanters)...

Oh well...thanks again SOE...I was almost tolerating my troub again. thanks for making me want to drop him and go back to my swashy or assassin.

For the troubs with the Zarrakon wrist, how is that for dps after GU-52?

For proc DPS its in the same boat as all the other proc items. For me its < 100 DPS ZW typically. This seems to be the norm for all proc items now.

There's a nerf to damage procs, but how are non-damage procs affected? I'm wearing Trooper Scale Boots and Circle of Necrosis atm, do procs like that, with mc/da, get the same nerf (making them less attractive than things with straight mc/da on them)?

Nah. If it doesn't deal damage, its effectiveness will be the same. Only difference is that the proc rate cant be modified, except by specific things such as our shard chest.

I'm wearing Necrosis, so that ones from personal experience.

Troub mythical should be buffed to 50% spell crit because the proc already sucked and post GU 52 it's even more of a piece of shit.
