how many of us still play or are you retired, semi retired or just out to lunch?

I'm both active in game and on the forums, although my Troubadour didn't become my main until 10/06 when i came back to the game after 3 months off, so I'm still a newb if you ask me..

Oh and I'm Nemuwe Le'Troublemaker.. i like to make trouble! and currently on Befallen

Ballads

I made troubador my main at the end of t5 around lu 12. Been raiding with him since he became my main. I still quest/solo/group farm some but mostly just raid 4-6 hours a night 7 nights a week. While us troubs have problems we have always been strong enough to be wanted in raid guilds as a support class. Early to mid t6 sucked ass and then the horrible upgrade to are abilitys from t6 to t7 really made a lot of troubs run but i've managed to still have fun.

For me the fun in this game will always be raiding. While it is fun to be able to go beat something by yourself its always more fun to be presented with and defeat a challenge that takes 24 people working together to over come.

I couldn't agree more!!!! I love being part of the raid when we kill something, expecially for the first time for our guild I don't think there is more of a rush , well except sex hahah. I just wish i had found my love for troubies alot sooner! It'd nice to hear there are still some from before the dreaded lu13..

Started my troub around Thanksgiving '04 and have had a few 2 month hiatuses, but have been fairly consistent with my play since then. I've been raiding since summer of '05 and like most old timers have seen the highs and lows of the troub.

While I do believe that our utility is probably fine right now, the class has some retardedly unuseful spells and have been set up to SUCK majorly in the upcoming expansions (unless they do another HUGE revamp to the class). I always find that I'm not bored in raids, but that's just because I try like hell to keep my dps up as much as possible.

Raiding is where my heart is in the game and without it, I would have quit a long, long time ago. When I'm not raiding, I'm farming for plat for whatever grabs my fancy off the broker or saving up for next expansion.

Bink

Been playing Bink since a week after launch of EQ2 in 04 ~ and as others have posted... Raiding is the only way to go. Been raiding since t5 (miss tanking Drayek and Prismatic drakotas... lol)

I have other characters but the only other character that I play as much as my troub, is my Illusionist. Love playing both almost equally.

So many twists and turns have come about with our class.

Oh the memories. I miss the old t5 days, they shouldn't have altered the classes so much imo, nor the style of raids. Lots of instances you can do everyday and tons of contested that all have loot that someone wants, the game was perfect then

Lol wouldnt say the game was perfect back then... but I did enjoy it more personally ... a number of classes were over powered. (Heck adding 5 Defense was like adding a lvl to your characters avoidance.. adding enough defense made you untouchable) ... but indeed t5 days were very fun!
