Each have their quirks.

- Harmonization rocks for your group, Sonics rocks for you, by increasing your dps, and also PoTM.

Personally, Sonics is the best for us. You can put 5 into all the abilities and not take the end one (really isnt THAT worth it if you have another troub in your guild with it). This increases your dps nicely and your group will love you with 5 into POTM.

5 Shrill | 5 Alins | 5 Eli's | 5 Potm | No Last Ability on Sonics

5 Brias | 5 Arias | 5 Quirons (I play pvp and this helps) |5 JC | 3 Elemental | 3 Arcane | Resonance.

Should be good imo. You can take sonics if you want but I choose not to because we already have a troub in the guild with it.

I havent considered Demoralizations yet.

I tired the Demoralizer line and I didn't think it was worth it.

Either one of the two setups Expi suggested are good.

You have this set up expi ? I woulda thought on pvp harmonization line would be the win. In my "if i was on pvp" build i would have for sure took the increased control effects. That and shrill for dps. I wondered about potm in pvp. Do you even use it at all? With mobility being so key in pvp i cant imagine rooting myself for 30 seconds.

I wish this game would have launched pvp. Troubadors take on a whole new role in pvp combat that i love. I envy you because you have a use for charm and power drains. Are great mix of stun/stifle/charm/mezz/snare is the win when dealing with pvp ruleset immunity's. Get you a Foreman's shank from gates to add in fear procs off your bow and you all set.

Your very right man!! Must be that Ohio bred logic! I put 5 into Charm and Mez, they are also both mastered, and it makes a HUGE difference in PvP. If I am gonna waste 2.44 seconds of PvP to cast a charm, that fucker really needs to stick! 2.44 seconds is an eternity in a PvP fight, and it is also one of the most valuable tools we have! When I saw the EoF aa page, i just about busted a nut, i was so happy they gave us a way to lower resistabilty of our two most valuable PvP spells!

I really do like the harmonization line, but although I do pvp alot, with Dove Song increasing your Disruption and Subj by around 20 and the Dark Pendant from MMIS and the Bracelet off MO with Disruption, i feel that stacking disruption and subjugation gear is more important than putting 25 points into harmonization.

Thats the setup I use and it works fine Ballads. I am trying to get a Stone of Nizara, and I have the Cloak of Thule. Star Darkened Longbow's Proc was nice for Troubs because we could snare someone to 100% finally, but now it isnt quite as good.

Charm isnt needed THAT much in pvp, because it breaks combat, so, the opponent can heal up at the same rate as you. For this reason alone I tend to cycle my stifle, and mez, so the immunities do not override eachother, and can often break someone.

Maybe you should make a PVP Troub sometime Ballads? :p

Does a lvl locked 17 count ? I would try for a 70 pvp toon but spliting my time between 2 lvl 70s would result in neither of them being as good as they could be. So i have fun with my little exp off lvl locked toons i have the 17 troubador and a 37 wizard. My 37 used to be 35 but im going a little higher with new aa caps.
I'm no serious pvper like yourself but i play around with lilballads. His record is 816 kills and 61 deaths while the wizard is a little over 1000 kills with about a 10 to 1 ratio. I choose vox on purpose also because its no so over crowded. So ive gotten my feet wet in pvp at least just dont have the time for another 70 toon on a server i cant support from my main.

Yeah thats true, my PVE Guild isnt quite as intensive as NPU would be. We have recently killed Growth and Hate and are hoping for more to pop. Really liking PVP though, might make a video sometime.
