How realistic is the thought that if they don't upgrade potm in T8 then it will be virtually worthless in the majority of raid fights. Considering a troubs dps will/should go up in T8. considering Potm is still producing t5 damafe procs. And the possibility that the resist of potm may go up on lvl 85 mobs. What real encounters would potm be worth to use other then fights that have 4+ mobs. I know there is no garantee in upgrades for T8, but alot of Aceient teachings became class defining abilites that realistically need an upgrade at least every 20 levels.

Afaik Troub dps will actually go down rather than up with RoK ;)

Depending, ofcourse, on the weapons etc they add and if they do something with our self buff :o

How do you reckon Troubadour DPS will go down, if I get a new bow that hits harder than the Rigid Scale and DW's that hit harder than GDoH and Bisected Sabre my DPS will GO UP.

I don't really see how you figure this one.

Compared to other classes - like mages who get about 90% of their damage abilities upgraded in the next expansion - bards get shafted for DPS upgrades this expansion.

We get:

Clara's (This skill should never be used)
Dancing Blade
Sandra's
Alin's
Kian's
Guviena's

And that's it for personal DPS (I'd count AoA but our group benefits from it also). And from my zonewides, all these combined make up about 10-12% of my total damage = bigger gap in DPS from troub's to every other class.

Ok it may not go down per say - but we wont get the same boost in dps as many other classes, it is possible that our dps wont even move much, even if we get new weapons etc.

Gotta agree with Ballads... POTM is a fluff spell that has grp benefits.

That fucking JC is my arch nemesis.. 2 conj, 1 necro, 1 wis in grp, and usually the wiz gets nada cause the others all want it plus the folks from the other grps hehe I suck at casting it most days but sometime I get in a sweet order and we pwn the shit out of stuff.
