Nothing change...same shitty buffs as usual...str/wis..

If u raid eof contents, u can't win without BD. Instead of all useless change, y don't they remove stun and root from POTM?

Uhh, yes you can win without an AE Avoid. And PotM doesn't stun you, it dazes you.

You can win without bladedance, but it'd take more jousting. And they probably didn't change percision because it has nothing to do with KoS AAs...

As a EoF-runner-up guild in KoS gear (crappy resists) and all? Allow me to doubt that. And if they do, they would have it a lot easier with some AE avoid skills.

Yes Round shield required, buckler wont work. Atm the sheild 8% bonus is not working on the group buff. The extra 8% to melee i am trying to get changed to both ranged and melee. Does it matter how often you use blade dance ? All the matters is you hit it when the raid leader ask. Dirges will be going sta/str to get this they will have to give up crits.

Worthless? even i won't in no way call them worthless.

- More casting haste, ok it's almost nothing but at least it's clean whole numbers this way
- Harmonizing shot, how could it be more useless
than a single target deagro bow shot for troubs?
And an extra taunt for the tank is a great idea imo !

And casual players will i think have lots of fun with the new lines,
heck i'd love to try that int line to see what it's worth, and the sta line too
I probably won t keep it long but it seems fun.

I'm still waiting for a new selo's song of travel with 80% stealthed run speed
with fae like glide but these changes are USEFULL and sure seem FUN.

I'd like to use the new stamina line and get double attack but it seems like a massive waste to drop either bladedance or dktm. Sure, it will increase dps but it is very convenient to have bladedance whenever i want it and dktm for my groups overall dps. I know that having a certain aa line is not necessary to win but damn does it make life easier.

Overall the changes in the bard aa lines are shit for troubadors.

Definately more Dirge-esque changes for these lines.

Will it really increase dps? You lose the ability to dual-wield when taking STA.
Say post-LU 37 you have 2 weapons with a damage rating of 80, when dual wielding them it'll be 2x60 (since you get a 33% added delay on the weapons which will not change the damage spread though).
Say you "max" double attack (7 points in personal and 8 in group) and have a shield equipped, that's like ... 50% double attack for you.
Meaning you have 120 (2x60) dual wield and 120 (80 * 150%) one handed. Hm.

Yes, Bladedance is convinient and an awesome thing to have - but you waste like 10 points in STR line and spend another 12 that are "meh" at best, at least considering how much you spend for the improvements.

Agreed, that double attack shit seems to be quite a thing for scout-group-dirges...

I'll have to wait and see how it plays out because presumably having two 1H weapons will be equivalent to having two duel wield weapons until lu37. Through the magic of soe, and the fact that i haven't tried the new line in lu36 or lu37, i prefer not calculate and guess as to which will provide more dps. I find it hard to believe that they would make an aa line with double attack if you in fact did less dps with that line. It would defeat the whole purpose of improving that group of aa, as was the intent of soe in the first place, and so i'll have to parse the difference after each update. I guess wait and see is the only option.

The strength line is not "meh". It is pretty good for bd and personal ae avoidance. I like avoiding direct damage, dot's, and stun/stifle ae's... i find that after using turnstrike i do more dps because i'm not dead on the ground.
